Casting and Fundraising Party

Casting is DONE everyone. One less thing to worry about. There were so many talented actresses at auditions it made casting decisions very hard. I almost wish we had more plays so we can cast more people. In any case, we have such a great cast and crew! Thanks to our stage managers who were running around this past weekend and our awesome AD, who has been the driving force, along with Caitlin, behind our fundraising party.

Check out the Facebook invite!

Or if you don't have FB (who doesn't have Facebook these days? Shout out to YOU for not succumbing, haha):

Time:
Thursday, May 21, 2009

7:00pm - 11:00pm
Location:
Loki Lounge
Street:
304 5th Avenue & 2nd St

Brooklyn, NY

Come join us while we drink, talk, and bid on some awesome auction items. There will be sex toys, dancing lessons, videography packages, baking lessons, etc.--all up for grabs to the highest bidder! And it will be a silent auction for those shy ones out there who secretly want to bid on the sex toys...

We have a space!

Make sure to mark your calendars, Ladies & Gentlemen, because the weekend of June 4th-7th is going to rock your world! We found a lovely space at The Workshop Theater Company; it's intimate without being too small and the chairs look really comfy for our audience members! More information will be coming soon.

Brief Update: A Home of Our Own

Hello hello! Caitlin here with a brief update on our dear project.

The plays we've workshopped are just about ready, and we've had some other types of artists come on board! (It's too early to say, but there might be jazz hands in our show.) It's shaping up to something real and cohesive, and we couldn't be more excited.

Over the next couple of weeks, Janice and I have appointments to look at some spaces downtown. And as soon as we secure a home, we can secure dates, directors, and all that other stuff that follows.

Again, thanks SO much for all your support, and keep checking back for more updates! And in case you haven't, be sure to join our Facebook Group!
